We’re back from performing in different cities in the United States!
Thanks to Javier Pollitzer, Gustavo Ahualli, Anabela Petronsi and Manuel Balaguer for helping us plan this trip.
We went to Washington with the scenic concert “Volver” that combines opera fragments with argentinian music, all stringed together into one single story. The show was performed by Gustavo Ahualli and Pablo Pollitzer, with Cynthia Wainz at the piano. Bea was the scenic director and dramatist. The show was presented at the Embassy or Argentina and the Catholic University of America, in the same city.
We then traveled to Ohio, invited by the Ohio State University, where we talked about our work as a company. The conversation included some live samples with some scenes from our production Non Ti Scordar Di Me. The presentation was titled: “Chamber music and scene. Relations between singing, body and space”. We presented it together with the soprano Anabela Petronsi. We’re very thankful with Eugenia Costa-Giomi for her help.
We also presented Non Ti Scordar Di Me at the Argentina Consulate in New York, with soprano Anabela Petronsi and pianist Emiliano Tchaghayan. The consulate hosted us incredibly and they gathered the specific props for our show. Thanks to Eduardo Almirantearena for leading this with the collaboration of Claudio Rodríguez and Claudia Corti’s support. We were really happy after the presentation.

¡Ya volvimos de presentarnos en distintas ciudades de los Estados Unidos!
Nos ayudaron mucho a la planificación y al logro Javier Pollitzer, Gustavo Ahualli, Anabela Petronsi y Manuel Balaguer.
Fuimos a Washington con el concierto escénico “Volver”, que combina
fragmentos de ópera con música Argentina, todo hilado en una misma historia. El espectáculo está interpretado por Gustavo Ahualli y Pablo Pollitzer, con el acompañamiento en el piano de Cynthia Wainz. Dramaturgia y dirección escénica de Bea Odoriz. Nos presentamos en la Embajada Argentina en USA y en The Catholic University of America, de la misma ciudad. Muy agradecidos con Gustavo Ahualli.
Después estuvimos en Ohio, invitados por The Ohio State University. Allí dimos una charla sobre lo que hacemos como compañía. La charla estuvo
acompañada de ejemplos escénico musicales en vivo, con algunas escenas de nuestro espectáculo Non Ti Scordar di me. La presentación se tituló “La Música de cámara y la escena. Relación entre el canto, el cuerpo y el espacio.” Lo presentamos junto a la soprano Anabela Petronsi. Quedamos muy agradecidos con las gestiones de Eugenia Costa-Giomi.

Claudia Corti. Quedamos muy contentos después de la función.
